I am working with the RSPCA to help them develop a consultancy business in the fields of performing and farm animals. The consultancy will aim to boost the RSPCA's income generation.

Recently I have also:

Developed a joint strategy for WSPA's collaboration with the Metropolitan Police's Wildlife Crime Unit

Developed plans to assist organisations with their re-structures and efficient allocation of transition funds

Assisted IPPF with the restructuring of their resource mobilisation team

Before =mc

My early career was as an economist as a fellow for the Overseas Development Institute (ODI). I was based in the small Island nation of Vanuatu working to train staff, conduct original research and liaise with international donors. I then moved on to work as an economic consultant, working with aid agencies such as ACIAR to ensure value for money and trace project funds before deciding to return to the UK to work as a Management Consultant.

Since returning to the UK I have been involved in a number of change projects for organisations such as London Underground as well as working on transformation programmes for a number of local authorities.

Amnesty International needed a new strategic framework to cope with the different human rights situation globally. We created a tailored strategy map.
Age UK, the major UK charity was the product of a merger. They needed a new approach to income generation and we helped them to shape their new programme.
In need of a country strategy, the Alliance turned to us after they set up a new regional office in Uganda.
The UK government needed some inspiration for new politics, they turned to =mc learning and development for innovation training for senior civil servants.
Increasing global fundraising capacity. We were excited to help the British Council staff in Russia secure a 1 million Euro sponsorship deal!
For Concern, =mc learning & development team provided a global leadership programme for managers and country directors – linked to a multicultural competence framework.
Turning a local authority department into an independent organisation means major change! We supported DGHP to create new ways of working.
Greenpeace International needed advice on innovation to help engage younger people in the environmental agenda – we designed a systematic programme to help with this.

The National Trust for Scotland needed a system to prioritise their projects. =mc introduced a special version of the strategy map.
NMSI, the UK’s largest museum cluster (including the Science Museum), asked us to assess their potential for increasing their unrestricted income.
