At the moment

I'm currently spending most of my time developing and delivering leadership and management programmes for organisations such as Defra and ActionAid, and project management for Mind and UK Athletics. I am also contributing to Affinity Trust’s modular Management Development Project.

Whilst in the office, I am spending my time developing new materials and team exercises.

Before =mc

I worked for several years in the commercial sector in Human Resources before joining the voluntary sector. I started out on the front line delivering employment support services to mental health service users and people with disabilities.

Most recently I worked for the Mental Health Providers Forum (MHPF), a membership body for voluntary sector mental health organisations. In this role I supported MHPF’s members, largely through training, around the issue of mental health recovery. I worked with front line staff and managers, senior managers and the people who used their services to support the successful implementation of this programme, encouraging a more recovery focused, partnership based approach to mental health services.

Our work with =mc has really exceeded our expectations. They helped us to create a new groundbreaking strategy which achieved astonishing levels of alignment and engagement amongst a diverse international organisation.

Caroline Harper, CEO, Sightsavers

We've used the =mc team to help frame and resolve several major strategic issues for us at the Red Cross and the wider networks we're involved in. With them you can be sure of a mixture of clear and critical thinking – plus that essential added extra value of creativity.

Mark Astarita, Director of Fundraising, British Red Cross

=mc has a wealth and breadth of knowledge, a terrific understanding and vast experience of the ethos and culture of the not-for-profit sector. This together with their 'anything is possible' approach made =mc an obvious choice for the RNLI to partner with, to develop and deliver in-house training for our staff.
